After all the flights are canceled at the Salt Lake City airport, Ashely and Ben will do anything to get to their destinations on time. Spectacular, intense, and original, The Mountain Between Us is a survival book that makes you feel like you’re fighting for your life alongside the protagonists, Ashley and Ben, in the frigid temperatures and harsh conditions. I love them both for various reasons, but since this is supposed to be a book review, I will only focus on the exceptional novel. Each were unmistakably different, almost entirely new stories, but equally amazing and containing the same essence and message in both narratives. After learning that it was based on a novel by the same title, I knew I needed to read it however, I was nervous that watching the movie beforehand would ruin the enjoyment of listening to the book.
